Project schedule
The PERMANENT project is divided in a number of tasks as shown in the project schedule below.
First of all, partner organizations will study the EVO documents (the IPMVP and IEEFP) and materials to familiarize themselves with widely used techniques. From this knowledge each partner will prepare an example savings measurement and verification (M&V) plan and savings report for at least 2 substantially robust energy efficiency projects in its home country.
On examples of real, identified local projects understanding the Protocols and their adaptation is based. The Protocols are adapted to both existing European legislation (e.g. IPPC, EPBD, ESD) and also national legislations and standards. Partners will agree on ways to customize the IPMVP to the European context. They will also review European and EVO risk management tools.
From this assembly and harmonization of materials for Europe, training materials will be developed. Promotional materials will also be developed. All materials will be in English and the languages of the 5 target countries of the project team. ‘Training of trainers’ will be provided by a team of experts fully immersed in EVO’s tools and experience and local custom.
Partners will widely promote awareness of the techniques of performance risk management through arranged speaking engagements at: energy user conferences, ESCO conferences, banker conferences and engineering conferences. Partners in five countries will organize local training sessions for different market segments and in different levels of depth, using their own or even external newly trained European trainers. Trainers will reassure during the training events potential buyers and financiers of the value of energy performance contracts by showing how performance risks can be managed.
Dissemination materials and tools will be developed and distributed. Dissemination activities will be performed during the whole project.
